Do you want to explore the interaction between science, industry and policy in Entrepreneurship and Innovation? Want to develop a business plan together with a group of other students based upon an existing startup of your own choice or based on your own invention using a template from an existing start-up? Then sign up for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Life Sciences & Health Seminars! During 6 Wednesdays, academic experts and practitioners from industry and government will share their insights on entrepreneurship and innovation with you and you will present your business plan to a jury, who will let you know their thoughts about it.
In the condensed Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Life Sciences & Health Seminars academic experts and practitioners from business and government will share their perception on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Life Sciences and Health domain. They will explore the interaction between science, business and government in this domain.
Together with a team of 3-5 people, you will write a business plan together. The business plan will be based upon an existing start-up of your own choice or you can choose to write a plan based on your own invention using a template from an existing start-up. The last 2 seminars will be the tryout of the pitch and the final presentation of the pitch will be during the last seminar. An expert will help you to prepare for the final pitch. This will be delivered by a delegate from the group. A panel of experts will take the opportunity to challenge the group with ‘real world’ questions and remarks.
The course is every third Wednesday of the month, starting from the 17th of January between 4.30-6 pm. Do you want more information or do you want to sign up? E-mail J. van der Velde, management assistant (email@example.com).
You can sign-up until Saturday November 26th!
