Sustainable entrepreneurship

Master 3 Aim is to provide understanding of (sustainable) entrepreneurship, analyse and evaluate economic sources of social and environmental problems and to apply to this knowledge by developing a business model and/or introducing this to the market. Emphasis on sustainability, but covers the basics and has a team-prepared business model assignment.
Entrepreneurship in the region

Master 1 Spatial point of view on entrepreneurship. Includes theory and international literature on entrepreneurship, business development and spatial behaviour of companies. Looks at trends in entrepreneurship and its interaction with local and regional economic poicies.
ICT entrepreneurship

Master 4 Highly software specific about developing, marketing and designing a product. Business plan is a small part of the course.
Sustainable entrepreneurship

Master 3 Informative course for students who might consider running their own business. It involves a business model assignment (group work) and a written exam on key course concepts. The course gives a good overview of what entrepreneurship means, how to identify opportunities and how to develop a business model.
Entrepreneurship and innovation in life sciences and health seminar

Faculty of Medicine, Master Focuses on interaction between science, industry and policy in the field. Promotes interaction with business and policy. Mostly guest lectures, requires writing and defending a business plan with a team.
TIc-Entrepreneurship

Faculty of Humanities, Master 4 Focus on entrepreneur (ZZP’er), reflection on personal goals, how students can connect expertise and social reality. Final assignment is a complete business plan (more focused on “soft” factors such as personal vision, goals etc.). Three types of knowledge: financial and administrative issues to start an enterprise; positioning and development in society; personal issues, personality, goals and motivations.

REBO, Master 3 Focus on how to attract financing for start-ups and entrepreneurial firms (crowdfunding, private equity, business angels, etc.). Goal is to be able to develop and read a financial plan for start-ups, understand IPO. No business plan, but group assignments and final exam

REBO, Master 2 Focus on marketing limitations and solutions of SMEs, startups, non-profit organisations, etc. Marketing toolbox for organisations that deviate from the traditional model (MNEs). Value creation is the main goal and should be achieved via entrepreneurial marketing techniques.
